Cameron Coker is a 20-something producer and layout artist hailing from the suburbs of Dallas, Texas. Cameron graduated from the VIZ Lab at Texas A&M University in 2016 and over the course of his academic career has led and been a part of numerous student and professional projects including an animated short in collaboration with ReelFX Studios in Dallas, and the development of pre-visualization animatics for Rare Model, a live action short film. Cameron worked as a Teaching Assistant and then as Instructor or Record at Texas A&M helping his fellow Vizzers create quality art and animation projects. Cameron served as an officer in his local ACM SIGGRAPH Student Chapter, TAMU ACM SIGGRAPH, for two years, first as Member Development Officer and then as President. He is also one of the founders of the yearly Chillennium Game Jam which began in 2014 with just 35 participants but quickly grew to nearly 250 participants by the time Cameron left the organization in 2016. Cameron is currently working as an Associate Producer at Triseum a game design studio creating quality learning games for college students.
In his off-time Cameron enjoys Gardening, D&D, Video Games, Graphic Novels, watching both good and really, really bad films. Cameron helps run the weekly movie watching party, Supercult, which is dedicated to exploring the best of the worst films of all time, and VIZ Movie Night!
Cameron is interested in Layout, Cinematography, Production and referring to himself in the third person. He continues to pursue his passion for storytelling, education, quality gameplay, and sass in the industry today.
